You mean you're not in the super secret Firefly club?

Alright, in your opinion, just an opinion, how long do you feel as though it will take you to program "1 Firefly" instead of "3 ACx16s"?

I suppose that I should also ask, how high of a priority will that be for you after we all get our new toys?

I can tell you that it won't be this month - won't get a FireFly to test with until then, just like everyone else.

HA! Instead of Firefly color picker, Aurora cut a deal with LOR S2 and will suggest we all use that! LOL LOL LOL

OH, ok.  Great Idea, let's all get LOR S2 now.   Oh wait, that was a joke, right?  LOL  - But seriously, I hope we see the color picker fairly soon, I too don't want to have to program 48 CH for my new Firefly.

What is your best guest on the time frame to have this RGB tool done?

JonB256 is correct.  In legacy mode, ID #N will be the red component, #N+1 will be the green component, #N+2 will be the blue component.  We are working with D-Light on structuring the "native mode" command set such that only one controller ID will be required for all three color components with Firefly.  This will be presented in Aurora as an "RGB tool" which will contain a "color picker" for the start and end colors for the event.  This functionality will appear starting in version 1.1.

Darryl has said that the FireFly controller, in Legacy Mode, will default to Unit ID#2 but will also grab ID#3 and ID#4.  If you set the ID with the Hardware controller to something else (and you should), it will always answer on 3 sequential ID#s.  So, #22 gets you #23 and #24 for Red, then Green, then Blue.

With this setup, Firefly will work with any LOR or Spectrum software (so that includes Aurora)
