Well I am ready to start programming for this year show, so I stopped in to see whats the haps. looks like a few things have changed, to that I say "Job Well Done Michael! "
I plan to still use this software, as it has yet to let me down. and I have tried many. Some have feature I like more BUT they let me down.
So what is the latest I need to have? I have a few new boards also have some of those lynx boards and (does that make it a run on sentence) some knew lazers with video. I have 2 weeks to put it all together and make a show out of it so I have plenty of time. Just want to make sure I am using the right software.
Good times and Happy Thanksgiving!

This goes for everyone: If you are interested in running DMX AND you don't mind jumping through a few hoops to make it happen, send a PM to LightsOnLogan. While not an official release, which, among other things, has no official support and is considered as is (so back up your sequences first!), a beta DMX enabled version of Aurora is available.
If you will not be using DMX this season, DO NOT ask for it. Stick with v1.0.69. |

So the short answer is 1.0.69?
Just joshin - is the DMX version Stable? I don't "Have to" Incorperate it this year. This time of the year is stressful enough, no way will I let my hobbie get me down
In fact last I checked I was still having problems getting my Lynx dongle to work so DMX is most likely not going to make the show this year.

Slink - Don't write it off too soon. I didn't use a Lynx dongle last year and I don't think it will work yet. If you have an extra D-Light dongle, you can do it, but you have to make a modified network cable.

The DL dongle will output data on pins 4&5. When you crimp the end on the Lynx side, swap 4&5 with 1&2 respectively. http://diylightanimation.com/wiki/index.php?title=Light-O-Rama_Controllers |
