Instead of an auto-match, what about something like a SQL column translate option?
I ahppened to be doing some data transformations recently for an import, and was thinking how nice to would be if I could take channel A from a file and it's events to Chennel B and channel Q.
Would need directionality as well. So I could load effects from a file to the current seqence or (like import channels) use the chennels from the file and map the current chennels to the new ones.
That might even be better than copy/paste for me.
