Damn! Spoke too soon! It was taking a while to load and parse all of the data, so I came in here send the last note, when when I went back it was just black... Putting in another bug note now. |

Well, I'm just now able to report that Aurora installed perfectly on my tablet, and runs perfectly fine.

Creating a new sequence from nothing takes a bit to init though.

While Vista can be a PITA, its slowly getting tweaked and fixed. At least its not anything like Windoze ME.

Expect no more than 5 to 10% CPU usage if you don't run the visualizer. A relatively new Celeron or better will be fine. If it runs WinXP smoothly, it can handle Aurora.

Absolutely, I'm running a 2Gig Dual core T7200 dual core at 2GHz and in playback (XP Pro) it uses about 50% of the CPU (but I also have a high resolution pic of the house).

Compared to Spectrum Aurora kicks serious butt in the low CPU stakes.

Basically I'm considering picking up a new laptop here soon for my BS degree program. So the dual core 3g ram machine I'm looking at should work fine then?
