I think he means he was just reconfiguring the forum topics - getting into adding buttons means he needs an extra stripe on his nerd badge.  ;)

no worries, since you are working on the forums is there a chance to add a "New Posts" button?

I love those,

Nope.  I just have an assortment of sequences, mostly imports or others' work, that I have used for experimentation, none of which have ever made it to my display.  I've found it much easier to learn by importing others' sequences and experimenting on them, in addition to building my own from scratch.  Here's some links to shared sequence sites to get you started:

How did you have with over 200 channels and almost no sequences

I spent all my time last year building/assembling my enclosures and tripling the size of my display, so I ended up creating an animation sequence (no audio file), around three minutes in duration, with only long twinkle commands.  I then used the hardware utility to set a different twinkle rate for each controller.  Then I set up Spectrum Player to play this "song" over and over all evening while I ran a playlist of Christmas tunes over the air with Windows Media Player.

Voila!  Nice random blinky-flashy with music. Big%20smile

Edit2: Okay, so I threw in some really long fades too, but it wasn't glamorous by any means!

Granted.  But I think you have the people count backwards.  There are really very few who are that "together", but it's easy to feel that way.

Hey, I've got 200+ channels, and I have NOTHING synchronized, save four 16 channel 4th of July sequences from last year.  And even they are full of glitches.  Last Christmas I ran my entire display on a three minute "twinkle" command animation sequence that repeated all evening, so I am starting from scratch too.  You're not as alone as you think.

Repeat my signature over and over again.....

Do I have to reply to all of copies of this post? LOL

Yes, I do realise that Aurora BETA has been around for a while and that many people used it for last years display, but I don't know anyone that counts the building/testing phase in thier release date. Clearly the pool of beta testers was only so deep since there are installation issues currently with it. All I'm saying is that our friends over at D-Light feel as though Aurora will compliment thier hardware (and hopefully views) well and Aurora is only now being installed on a wider range PCs.
