Did you have a web page that shows your LED flood light wash units?   I thought I remembered seeing one before, but cant find it now.

I bought 20 mr16s from him this year and didn't have any failures.

They are home made from Action Lighting MR-16s.  Action doesn't publish this well on their writeup, but these are 12 volts AC not DC.  However, they will run on DC... but you will need to supply 14 volts instead of 12 (13.8V specifically, but they can take up to 14.5 without any problems) .  They are controlled with a DCx16.  Alternatively it is possible to wire them 10 in series and run them off an ACx8/ACx16 channel.  I did this in 2006 and it works equally well.

As for housings, I will need to dig around for more photos as to how I made those.  I don't have the specifics off hand (will need to get details when vacation is over), but in general terms they are made from an electrical PVC conduit adapter, a cleanout plug, and some 0.62 Molex crimp ons.  The bulbs themselves are glued right onto the conduit adapter and are not under a lens since the Action ones happen to be waterproof as is (3 seasons now and no problems whatsoever).
