The preliminary release notes for the upcoming 1.1 (items in bold are still being tested):

1.1.0
-----
- Adds device type "D-Light Firefly"
- Adds device type "RGB over D-Light ACx16, DCx16"
- Adds RGB tool
- Adds RGB over Firefly, ACx16, and DCx16 devices
- Adds "Add Controller" to the channel context menu
- Adds Color column to Bulk Channel Editor
- Adds Device Type column to Bulk Channel Editor
- Fixes Bulk Channel Editor doesn't move draw objects with channel reassignments
- Fixes Bulk Channel Editor scrambles events of channels reassigned to higher IDs
- Adds "data rate" property to serial network configuration (19200, 38400, 56000, 57600, 115200).
- Adds "sequence contains no channels" message to grid when no channels have been created
- Fixes Vista error 339
- Fixes twinkle rendering in visualizer for channel 16
- Fixes some commands across multiple banks will not execute
- Fixes sequencer playback to lights can play previous sequence after consecutive File/Load
- Fixes sequencer doesn't always play changes after editing sequence
- Fixes "Import channels from file" doesn't work on templates containing arches
- Fixes arches drawn at incorrect height after committing changes
- Fixes disappearing draw objects when moving channels
- Fixes Channels.MoveGroup method of API produces undesired results (SDK related)
- Fixes "Microsoft Cursor Engine" error on file/save as and workspace backup
- Fixes multiple network command playback can make Aurora unresponsive
- Fixes instant crash without error when placing events in imported channel
- Fixes events do not show on grid unless there is an event in the channel past the 1 second mark
- Fixes scheduler calendarmouse errors
- Fixes shimmer and twinkle ramp
- Improves performance of bulk channel editor

The 339 Vista thing and calendarmouse are the only issues still open.  The 339 error has taken longer than others to test (and is the reason for the delay from November 1) because it requires repeated wiping of the OS on test machines to apply various configurations.  We've been testing several 339 fixes and have it narrowed down to 3 which are presently being tested.

Update:  I think we have the 339 errors fixed but the fix resulted in some WiLink compatibility issues that we are sorting out.  I know some displays are on the line here, so after a couple more tests we should have a "1.1 preview release" a.k.a 1.0.25 available for public use.  1.0.25 may have an issue or two (such as WiLink playback) preventing if from becoming the true 1.1, but it will let y'all get some sequences done while we put the finishing touches on it!

YEAY!
I don't have WiLink, who cares if it works? LOL
I really want my Firefly support.
Hum... So Firefly support does NOT rely on 'native' mode?

Heck, we don't even have a Native Mode to beta test with yet.

Firefly is "semi-native" mode.  D-Light put one of the native mode commands in the legacy firmware for Aurora to use, but the remaining commands are mapped to multiple legacy mode commands.  Once D-Light releases the native mode firmware we will issue a patch for Aurora to take full advantage of native mode.

What type of time frame were you looking at for the 1.0.25 release?

It depends on how quickly the volunteer beta testers report back (1.0.23 just went out for testing).  I hear that they are accepting bribes to finish sooner! Wink

Actually, the WiLink problem was fixed this afternoon, so we may go straight to 1.1... or maybe not.

Calendarmouse, WiLink, and Vista 339 were all just signed off on.  There could be a release within the next 24 hours if nothing else comes up.
