Having seen a few requests for a quick beginners guide to Aurora, Jonathan and myself put together this basic beginners guide to Aurora Show Software.

To help any anyone testing out the demo or just new to the Aurora Software, here you go.

I have to run, but...

I've just gotten around to reading this and it seems pretty good (better than the help manual so I can't complain).  I have seen a few grammar mistakes and typos which I will toss back at you when I'm back in the office next week.

I was sufficiently inspired to create a few basic video tutorials:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iHduN-VoPOg&fmt=18 -
Aurora Tutorial Part 1 - Creating a Sequence

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zMdcrj0X6Hw&fmt=18 - Aurora Tutorial Part 2 - Importing, Using the Visualizer, Outputting to the Controllers

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MxBcUjZM3v8&fmt=18 - Aurora Tutorial Part 3 - Borealis

I also have two tutorials on how to program for firefly.  Feel free to have a gander at those:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MD8qj0-c7mk&fmt=18 - Firefly Tutorial Part 1 - The Basics

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CbNhrQGEHkA&fmt=18 - Firefly Tutorial Part 2: Splitting Cells and Paste Options

I hope these videos help!

EDIT:  Even viewed in High Quality mode, there was still substantial loss of clarity.  I have therefore uploaded all of the tutorials to my Vimeo channel:  http://www.vimeo.com/jonathand1027 - http://www.vimeo.com/jonathand1027   The conversion seems to have gone better on Vimeo, so be sure to check them out therer

Yep, I think so. Smile I posted a link over on D-Light's forum, but I'm not a member of nor do I follow the Planet Christmas forum.  So if anyone wants to drop the links there, feel free.

The tutorial on vimeo is outstanding, they quality is fine, easy to read and follow.  Between this and Lights & your written direction I ready to rock and split some cells.

Your help is quite appreciated.
