| When i plug in my box to the usb adapter and connect to the zdzpted i get a solid LED but the device isnt descovered and i have tried decovering all also so i am wondering what is wrong with either my computer or box. |

Is the USB485 installed correctly?
Did you select the correct COM port?
Does the LED blink when the utility is not running?

If you have a set of really good magnifiers, take a look at your RS485 Transciever chip. There are two major suppliers and they are pin-compatible. One is made by Texas Instruments, the other by Intersil. You really want the Texas Instrument version. Last year, I believe the consensus was that it was Intersil chips that were losing their IDs.
