I mainly focus on the highs and lows. The highs (treble) are nearer the top while the lows (bass) are closer to the bottom. The "loudness" is determined by how "bright" the lines are. As an example, here is the opening from TSO's "A Mad Russian's Christmas".

Edited by LightChristmas - 11 Aug 2012 at 3:39pm

I have been trying to program for over a week and having some difficulty reading the pectrograph. Is there any tip or trick in using (or reading) the spectrograph to sequence? Is just listening to the song and fine tuning and adjusting better or in conjunction with the spectrograph, what most people do to sequence? Thanks!
